In Imami Shiite jurisprudence, eating mud and soil is forbidden. However, the grave of Imam Hussein (as) has been exempted from this ruling with certain conditions. In Imami hadiths, Phrases such as "Tin Qabr al-Hussein" and "Tarbah al-Hussein" can be seen. The purpose of this article is to explain what the torbat of Sayyid al-Shuhada (as) is and to determine the permissible limit for taking it in order to be Healed from it. The main question of the research is that according to the hadiths, to what extent is the tomb of Imam Hussein (as) referred to as "Tarbah al-Hussein" and one can expect healing from it.

This article is a content analysis and is a fundamental study. By referring to hadith, jurisprudential sources and searching for keywords such as Torbat, grave, Imam Hussein, healing and the like, the required data were collected in the way of the purpose of the article and in response to the main research question, then reviewed and compiled logically and has been concluded.

Examination of three categories of hadiths related to determining the extent of taking Torbat for healing showed that all of them have a weak document.

It seems that considering that on the one hand the healing of Torbat Seyyed al-Shohada is consecutive, and on the other hand the healing of Tin and Torab is forbidden, therefore it is necessary to suffice to healing from the Torbat of Seyyed al-Shuhada that is, the Torbat that joins the honorable grave itself and its surroundings. Also, the study of hadiths indicating a specific smell and color showed that these narrations do not indicate that healing depends on color or smell.

Keywords: Torbat, Healing (Isteshfa), Sayyid al-Shuhada (AS), Hadiths.
