Islam and Christianity each consider their Bibles to be at the top and full of novel points that lead mankind to salvation and happiness, Muslims consider the Qur'an as revealed by God and Christians consider their Bibles to be confirmations of the Holy Spirit and His inspirations. . However, regarding both books, contradictions have been claimed and the defenders of both religions have tried to provide answers and solutions to resolve the apparent contradictions between its verses. Despite the numerous critics of the Bible, the official view of the Catholic Church is still based on the validity of the contents of this book and its inerrancy.
The purpose of this methodological article is to solve the contradictory cases in these two books and to check the success rate of these methods. In this article, the method of the defenders of the Qur'an and the Holy Bible in solving contradictory cases has been investigated using the comparative-analytical method based on library sources.
Investigations show that Muslims have adopted a legal method in this position and have resolved apparent contradictions based on the customary combination of verses accepted by the wise, but Christians have not succeeded in resolving the contradictions in some cases and In other cases, the answers and solutions provided by them have led to inappropriate and unreasonable tasks.
